1. Who we are

FindrFleet is operated by ItTracks (British Columbia, Canada). When this policy says "we" or "us" we mean the operator of hello@findrfleet.ca.

2. What we collect

  • Account data: email, display name, authentication provider.
  • Device telemetry: GPS coordinates, speed, heading, battery, signal strength, and alert events reported by tracking hardware you have attached.
  • Fleet + membership data: fleet names you create, members you invite, roles assigned.
  • Billing data: handled by Stripe; we store only the subscription status and customer reference, never your card details.
  • Usage data: anonymous pageview + performance logs from Vercel Analytics.

3. How we use it

  • Run the product you signed up for (show device location, send alerts, compute trip history).
  • Keep your account secure (authentication, rate limiting, abuse detection).
  • Process payments via Stripe.
  • Send transactional email (invite links, billing receipts, alerts).
  • Improve the product via aggregated usage stats.

4. Who we share it with

Sub-processors we use: Google Firebase (authentication + database hosting), Stripe (billing), Mapbox (map tiles), Resend (email), Twilio (SMS alerts), and Vercel (app hosting). We do not sell your data. We share it only as required to operate the product or to comply with law.

5. How long we keep it

Account + fleet data are retained while your account is active and for 30 days after deletion (for backup recovery). Device ping history is retained for 12 months by default. Trip summaries are retained until you delete them. Billing records are retained for 7 years as required by tax law.

6. Your rights

You can access, export, or delete your data from the Account page in the app, or by emailing hello@findrfleet.ca. If you are in the EU, EEA, UK, or California you also have the right to object to processing or file a complaint with your local data protection authority.

7. Cookies

We use a first-party session cookie (__session) to keep you signed in, and Vercel's anonymous analytics cookie. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

8. Changes

We will update the "Last updated" date above whenever this policy changes. Material changes will also be announced via email to account holders.
